Information Specialist
iSquareInfo is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Business
Intelligence Information Specialist with experience supporting vended and in-house
business intelligence solutions. As a Business Intelligence Information Specialist,
you will support our business to gain value from our data by defining
architecture, standards, and tools for use. This means that you will work
closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and information
management teams to define and implement roadmaps for business intelligence and
analytics solutions. You will also mentor and provide guidance to teams
teaching them how to appropriately deliver business intelligence solutions
As a Business Intelligence Information Specialist at iSquareInfo, this is your
opportunity to
– Act as primary Information Specialist supporting vended and in house business
intelligence solutions, including
– Data Visualizations for dashboards, reports, and more
– Reference data management tools and services
– Data structures design and operationalization
– Ensure business access to adequate, understandable, accurate data
– Ensure that implementations align to enterprise data strategy principles
– Provide consulting to project and product teams on adhering to enterprise
architecture standards
– Promote strategic solutions for data visualization with architecture and
delivery teams
– Partner with other architects, infrastructure and software experts to utilize
enterprise data visualization tools
Required Skills:
– 5 years of
experience in IT in technology architecture, operations, design and development
– 3 years of experience with BI and Data Visualization software Tableau,
PowerBI, Qlikview, Qlik Sense, SSRS, Business Objects, SAS, SAP BW, etc
– 5 years of experience with Data integration technologies, ETL tools,
approaches and patterns SSIS, Informatica, Ab Initio, Pentaho, Alteryx, etc
– 3 years of experience with data engineering technologies and patterns Spark,
Scala, Python, R, etc
– Dimensional data modeling experience
– Experience utilizing open source frameworks and re-usable components
– Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and
Oracle
Nice to have Skills:

– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– A critical thinker that challenges assumptions and seeks new ideas

Qualifications
Master Degree Information Technology or Computer Science
